"Kikoetekuru Naminoyouni / Like the waves you hear"


The new work of Mediterranean surf rock band" Boom Pam” from Israel is a new music CD by the online collaboration with Mitobe Shishiodori in Minamisanriku, Kurofune Taiko Preservation Society, Orie Hibiki (Tsugaru shamisen), Emi Shirasaki (6 prefectures in Tohoku! ! Show) from Tohoku region of Japan, includes 4 collaborative songs. From the eastern Mediterranean and from the Sanriku coast, the hearts and minds of music artists who value the bond with the sea have been connected!

Boom Pam's new EP "Kikoetekuru Naminoyouni / Like the Waves You Hear" from Israel is a collaboration with local entertainment groups and musicians in Minamisanriku, Tohoku region of Japan, all four songs. Participants from the Japanese side are Mitobe Shishiodori in Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture, Kurofune Taiko Preservation Society in Ogatsu Town, Ishinomaki City, Yukihiko Yotsukura, a musician in the city, Hibiki Orie, a Tsugaru shamisen player in Sendai City, and Kiwi. Go Arai, a violinist from & the Papaya Mangoes, and Emi Shirasaki, a singer from Yamagata prefecture.


This work was produced as part of the "Israel-Japan Partnership-Tohoku Initiative 2021" project of the Israeli Embassy in Japan in memory of the victims, 10 years after the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami.
