A special night of jazz vocals and guitar in this ultimately simple format.


Lilly, with her captivating silky voice, will attract audience with the tunes from standard to traditional jazz, and Gilad Hekselman, winner of the Gibson Montreux International Guitar Competition and a New York-based Israeli jazz guitarist, will perform a live jazz concert as Duo.

Gilad is known as one of the best jazz guitarists of our time. After meeting and hitting it off, the two have released two albums, "Tenderly" (2017) and "The Song is You" (2021).

They have released two albums in quick succession, "Tenderly" (2017) and "The Song is You" (2021), which have been highly acclaimed in various fields!

<Gilad Hekselman>


Gilad Hekselman is one of the leading voices in jazz guitar. Only a few years after his arrival

in NY in 2004, this native Israeli was already sharing stages with some of the greatest artists in

New York City jazz scene including Chris Potter, Eric Harland, Mark Turner, Anat Cohen, Ari

Hoenig, Esperanza Spalding, Jeff Ballard, Ben Wendel, Gretchen Parlato, Ben Williams, Avishai Cohen, Tigran Hamasyan, Aaron Parks.


In May 2019, Hekselman featured his quartet at the legendary NYC venue The Village

Vanguard. He has also been playing all other major jazz clubs in New York City, including the Blue Note, The Jazz Standard, Dizzy's Club and Smalls. He is constantly touring world-wide

and has played most noteworthy jazz festivals and venues including Montreux, North Sea,

Montreal & SF Jazz to name a few.


Hekselman has released 9 critically-acclaimed records as a band-leader, many of which have

made it into 'best of the year' lists on NY Times, Downbeat Magazine, Amazon, All About Jazz

and many other publications. His 10th upcoming record, Far Star, was released on Edition

Records in May 2022. It's an all-original album in which Hekselman plays many instruments,

and it features special guests such as Eric Harland, Shai Maestro, Ziv Ravitz and more. The record release was celebrated with a week-long engagement at the Village Vanguard in NYC at the end of March 2022.

< LILLY (aka Lilly-Ann Hertzman)>


LILLY (aka Lilly-Ann Hertzman) is a singer, songwriter, composer and producer from Denmark

who has received great reviews for creating evocative songs and soundscapes of a rare kind and with a personal expression and sound. Her inspirations and influences are many and goes across genres like jazz, singer-songwriter, folklore and pop. Her origins also cross borders, with a mother from Japan and a father from Denmark.


Lilly has released two highly acclaimed albums with lyrics in English, Before the Crossing (2005)

and Love Is A Sound (2009) and recently she released her third album, and the first with lyrics in

Danish, titled Menneskeblomst (2016), a selfinvented word that means Humanflower.

On Dec 1st 2017 she released the duoalbum, Tenderly (feat. Gilad Hekselman).


Lilly has played, recorded and collaborated with some of the finest, most talented and versatile creative musicians in Scandinavia, Europe and US.
