Israeli Culture Weekend in Kyoto 2015 


The Embassy of Israel organizes the event on with Music, Art, Design, Dance, History and Daily Life of Israelis in the collaboration with the Kyoto Art Center and Kyoto City, which is the first complex of the Israeli cultural event held in Kansai Area. 


Date: December 25, 2015 (Fri), 26th (Sat), 27th (Sun) total 3 days 

Open: 10: 30-21: 30 * Up to 17:00 on the last day 

Place: Kyoto Art Center Spring, Auditorium, Meeting Room 2

A. Cross culture space

1. Tea seat where you can drink some coffee at the Finjan (Coffee Pot) Enjoy the middle eastern style coffee that is boiled down and roasted, on the tables and space designed by Israeli born international designer Ezri Tarazi and Heim Parnasse with Israeli hospitality! 


2. Catalog exhibition "Time tunnel" of Israel Museum You can travel from prehistoric period while taking the historical and art book of Israel Museum. Museum shop is also open for a limited time.

2. First music session by Israeli and Japanese Klezmer band! (music) 

The first collaboration of Fanfare Roma'n-Garde, which is representative of Eve's Women and Clarinet player.

3. Japan · Israel International Project Dance Performance World Premiere "An Empty Chair" (Dance) 

A new dance performance by Tomo Sone, Avidan Ben Giat, Ido Batash.

* Workshops by dancers will also be held. 


4. EVE's Women Japan's first single performance (music)
