Event Details
The Pacific Music Festival (PMF) is an international educational music festival, fostering young musicians from across the globe, founded in Sapporo, Japan in 1990 by Leonard Bernstein (1918-1990), world-renowned conductor and composer of such works as “West Side Story.”
In 2022, the festival will hold a concert in Tokyo for the first time in 3 years.
Gifted young conductor Lahav Shani, Music Director of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, will present the powerful and youthful music of the PMF Orchestra. Makoto Ozone, one of the leading pianists in Japan, will perform as soloist. The PMF Orchestra Concert in Tokyo represents the grand culmination of PMF 2022!
