Afterward, he studies under domra player Teddy Shushankov for two years, and at the age of 17, he studied under mandolin player Yaki Reuven. He graduated from Mandolin School in Beer Sheva which produced many soloists. At school, he advocated playing concertos from the violin repertoire (e.g. Paganini's Caprice, Bach, Vivaldi) to improve performance. He has received many awards in Israel, including the American-Israel Foundation Award. Graduated with BA and MA from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. In October 2022, he won the highest score ever at the 12th ARTE International Mandolin Competition and won the first prize.
