Garden City Movement Japan Tour 2022

UP COMING

Event Details

The Tel Aviv-based electro-pop band "Garden City Movement," which thrilled audiences at its first visit to Japan in 2019, is coming to Japan for the second time. This time they will perform not only a regular band live set but also their newest club set "Hybrid-Set".

The band's Japanese debut album "Move On" released on PLANCHA in September 2017 and the full-length album "APOLLONIA" released on Late Night Tales / BEAT RECORDS in March 2018 are still long sellers.

The band's diverse sound, which continues to evolve without being bound by genres, while wearing a dreamy atmospheric atmosphere, is loved by a wide range of listeners, transcending the boundaries of music and fashion.

During their two-day visit to Japan, they will perform both a regular band live set and  their newest club-inspired set called "Hybrid-Set", which was recently released on YouTube and has already recorded over 300,000 views. Please come and experience their latest performance.

Garden City Movement

Tel Aviv based Garden City Movement is a top notch electronic music project consisting of Joe and Roi formerly part of "Lorena B". They've performed with Disclosure, Bondax, Blonde Redhead and Apparat to name a few. Johnny, the third member, is a well known music journalist, radio DJ and nightlife persona who has played alongside artists such as Floating Points, Koreless, Oneman and many more. Together, the three produce a blend of perfectly beautiful mixes drawn from their diverse cultural worlds. The result ranges from sweet hypnotic beats to ground floor based tracks.

In 2019 the band released "Miss You (Under Shimokita Sky)" for their first time tour in Japan. The song peaked in the JWAVE TOP 100 chart.
