In 2021, after 10 years of rebuilding efforts in the Tohoku region, the Embassy of Israel in Japan in collaboration with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and partners in Tohoku and Israel launched the "Tohoku - Israel Startup Global Challenge Program", enhancing Israel's commitment to support the region. After 8 months of supporting Tohoku-based startups with Israeli know-how through intense mentorship and lectures offered by Israel's top experts, the program has finally come to its final stage! A dual event sponsored by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will also be held to promote this unique collaboration and the spirit of entrepreneurship in Japan.

In the year celebrating 70 years of diplomatic relations between Israel and Japan, join us in the Tohoku - Israel Global Demo Day and witness how Tohoku startups have transformed after a rigorous program!!
