Donath, Orna

Israeli sociologist and social activist with MA in Anthropology and Sociology and a PhD in Sociology from Tel Aviv University. In 2011, published her first book “Making a Choice: Being Childfree in Israel”, which studied Jewish Israeli men and women who had no desire to become parents.

Her second book, " Regretting Motherhood," was published in 2016 and caused a great deal of attention, especially in Europe, and was translated around the world.
