Cinema South Festival invites filmmakers to submit their films in all genres: fiction, documentary, hybrid, experimental, animation and others, to the 23rd edition of Cinema South Festival that will take place between 7-14 November 2024.
CSF is one of Israel’s five biggest and long-standing film festivals. For the past 23 years, CSF has hosted hundreds of filmmakers from Israel and overseas.
CSF is a major cultural event in the south of Israel, functioning simultaneously as a very local event, showcasing a wide range of point-of-views of the local southern story, and also a global platform, dealing with topics of the social margins, what we refer to as a “Global South”.
CSF is in constant search for films bearing a clear, unique, visual signature, a rich and original cinematic story, a bold and challenging cinematic language.
